The Kiwanis mission
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time.
Our History
Chartered in February 2024, the SELA Kiwanis Club aims to become one of the largest volunteer organizations in the region, serving thousands of individuals and communities every year.

Our Programs
Kiwanis members’ activities support the Kiwanis causes:
- Health and nutrition.
- Education and literacy.
- Youth leadership development.
Together, these causes form a continuum of impact — helping young people develop throughout childhood and into adulthood. Each cause also supports the others, ultimately creating a generation of leaders who also contribute to that continuum.
A TASTE OF SELA
Join us as we highlight menu offerings from the region’s restaurants, bars, bakeries and other selected venues in order to showcase the diversity that our community has to offer. This event will attract attendees from throughout Southeast Los Angeles including local community leaders and elected officials.
2nd Annual Eddie Cochran Memorial Car Show
The 2nd Annual Eddie Cochran Memorial Car Show looks to grow the success of the inagural event by bringing together car enthusiasts, collectors, musicians, pin-up models, vendors & families for a day of excitement & appreciation for custom automobiles & atomic era style & culture, all while a honoring SELA legend.
